Chapter 2

The signing went as planned. While Jon was happily signing autographs, Steph went and checked on emails and checked out some of the back ends to the different websites he had. She quickly learned her way around the software and then made a call to the Soul Foundation office and introduced herself. She asked what info Jon would need for the meeting that afternoon and thanked them for helping her out. She printed all of the necessary info and put into a folder for him. Checking her watch, she decided it was time to get Jon. She wandered back down corridor and got there just as the signing was ending. Jon grinned as the curtains closed and saw that she was right there. They quickly headed out and the car was waiting for them, with lunch already having been picked up.
"Wow!" Jon said once they were done eating. "My life already feels more organized. So what do we have for the meeting this afternoon?"
"I have everything all ready to for you," she said smiling and handing him the folder.
He opened it up and flipped through the contents. "This is fantastic. Thank you. This should make it a fast meeting."
They pulled up in front of the office building and headed inside. Introductions were made and Jon showed Steph where his office was. It was huge with a breathtaking view of the city. Just outside of it was a slightly smaller office.
"This will be your work area when we're here. Feel free to make it your own space while I'm in the meeting. And Steph?"
"Yes Jon?"
"If there is anything you need, please feel free to let me know and I'll take care of it for you."
"That's supposed to be my line," she said.

"Well, then I'll have to make sure to take you up on that," he said with a grin. "I'll be back in a little bit."
She looked around the office and checked out some of the files. She quickly organized the desk and filing cabinets so that everything was sorted in an order she could find things.She found a notebook and made a list of things the office needed to make it more personal. She was reading through emails a little while later and jotting down some questions to ask him so she could follow up on them when a voice interrupted her thoughts.
"So your Jonny's new girl?" a happy voice said smiling.
"I'm not exactly his girl," she said smiling looking up to see who the voice belonged to. "Hi Tico. I'm Steph Alderson, his new PA."
"Nice to meet you."
